Hello, I have recently bought a Sagemcom F@ST 1704 Wireless Router/Modem from my ISP Windstream Communications. I have had multiple problems with it; 1. The internet connection drops almost constantly, sometimes accompanied by the router actually rebooting itself without human interaction physically or by the router login page, 2. The internet speeds on my Fiance's HP Pavilion DV7 are not what they should be, not even when directly plugged in through an cat5 Ethernet cord. She should get around the 350-400Kbps range, but instead gets 10Kbps. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I could fix this I would greatly appreciate it. I have contacted Windstream but since everything on there end virtually seems to check out (Such as speedtest results coming back as what they should) They refuse to send out a technician even though they have records and have acknowledged the drops of the internet. Sometime up to 200 times a day according to them. So please any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
